Kitty Rothschild

Kitty Rothschild, an accomplished and charismatic business leader and strategic advisor, Kitty has demonstrated expertise in partnering with social entrepreneurs and nonprofit leaders to interpret, design and build the operations, production and communications infrastructure to bring their vision to fruition.

Kitty joined the Collaborative for Academic, Social and Emotional Learning (CASEL) during a critical and transformative moment of its growth in 2017. In her role as Chief Operating Officer, Kitty established, oversaw and evolved all areas of operation, including information technology, business affairs and contracting, finance, legal, human resources, project management, product development and meeting planning and production. In early 2022, CASEL’s excellence in its business practices, leadership and quality reputation in the field of SEL resulted in the receipt of a multi-million dollar investment by Mackenzie Scott. Kitty led the team that established the inaugural 2019 SEL Exchange conference, and continued to serve as its Executive Producer until she departed CASEL in December of 2022.

During her tenure at CASEL, Kitty maintained an entrepreneurial mindset, spinning up the business and marketing plans, technology platforms and product development efforts to establish and produce new products for CASEL, including the SEL Exchange Conference, the SEL Exchange Virtual Summit, the CASEL SEL Learning Together workshop series and its on-demand learning counterpart, the CASEL SEL Fellows program, the inaugural SEL Journal for Research, Practice and Policy, the CASEL Weissberg Scholars program and a new website, CASEL.org.
